Dr. Allison Wylde FHEA FRGS IEEE PhD (London) MA DIC (Imperial) BSc Hons
Expertise
Allison is a Senior Lecturer/ Assistant Professor, she has experience of lecturing and supervision with Russell Group institutions, including Cardiff University Business School, Cardiff School of Computer Science and Informatics, and the University of Warwick, where she supervises dissertations, and delivers executive education and MSc courses. She has recent DBA and PhD completions with the University of the West of Scotland, and she serves as an external examiner (PhDs) with the University of Karachi, Pakistan.
Allison is a national expert on societal security management and was previously an international commissioner on security standards and guidelines, co-chairing the first ASIS International/American National Standards Institute standard on physical security management.
In December 2024, Allison’s keynote with the United Nations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Internet Governance Forum conference focused on innovation in AI and security and issues of AI and cyber security governance.
